Getting started

How to use Nervelo

Six simple steps, about a minute of setup, then 20 quiet minutes. Here is exactly how to place it, how to apply the gel, and how to switch between modes.

Step by step

1

Find your spot

Rest two fingers gently on the side of your neck, just below the jaw, until you feel your pulse. The contact points should sit in this soft area.

Placement matters. If the device ends up on top of the thick muscle along the side of your neck, slide it slightly toward the front until the pads rest where you felt the pulse. Rest it there; never press hard.

2

Add gel to the metal contacts

Place a small amount of conductive gel on each of the metal pods. You can use the gel included with Nervelo, or any conductive gel you already have. A thin, even layer is enough.

3

Turn it on

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. A green light shows it is on. It always starts in Sleep mode, so you begin with the gentlest setting for the evening.

4

Place it around your neck

Rest it around the back of your neck, with the pads at the spot you found in step 1. It is hands-free: once it sits right, there is nothing to hold.

Start low. Raise the intensity gradually with the remote until you feel a soft, comfortable tingle. More is not better.

5

Choose your mode

Press the M button, on the device or on the remote. Each press moves to the next mode, and you may notice a different sensation in each one.

One more press and you are back to Sleep. The sessions run 20 minutes and end on their own.

6

Clean and store

When the session ends, wipe the gel from the contacts with a soft cloth, then keep your Nervelo in its pouch until next time.

Good to know

Use it once or twice a day, the way you would any daily ritual.

Nervelo also works with the included remote, so you can change modes and intensity without touching your neck.

Read the safety information in the user manual before your first use. If you have a medical condition, an implanted device, or you are pregnant, talk to your doctor first.

Nervelo is a wellness device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
